Brendan Hickman

Brendan Hickman is Chief Commercial Officer of UBM Aviation. He was appointed to the post in July 2009.

Brendan is an industry veteran with a well-earned and strong reputation with senior executives throughout the global transportation and logistics industries. He brings over thirty years’ experience of successfully developing, managing and selling business and technology solutions to these communities.

Brendan joined UBM Aviation from Transportation Management Group, which he founded in 2006. Prior to establishing TMG, Brendan spent 15 years with NCR/Teradata Corp as Vice President Travel and Transportation; and 20 years with Continental Airlines and its technology subsidiary, SystemOne, including Vice President Marketing and Sales of automation services to the marketplace.

Brendan was educated at Assumption University in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and took post-graduate studies at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and at the University of Chicago.

Brendan has been a guest lecturer for The Ohio State University on "Logistics and Business Performance Measurement" as well as at Cranfield University and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business on “The Alignment of Asset Expense to the Revenue Source.”

Brendan is an active member of the Business Advisory Council for the Northwestern University Transportation Center.
