Engineering, maintenance and Supply Chain Issues in Asia Under the Spotlight at UBM Aviation Conference in Bangkok, 3 & 4 June.
Asia's airlines and their suppliers will be converging in Bangkok to debate and discuss the current status of the regional airline E&M and supply chain markets, and to learn from industry experts about strategies to survive the current economic challenges. Endorsed by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA), the 15th Annual Asia Pacific Airline Engineering & Maintenance and Purchasing & Supply Chain Conference is taking place June 3 and 4 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Bangkok, and is produced by Aviation Industry Conferences, part of UBM Aviation (www.ubmaviation.com).
The Conference has two streams: one focusing on supply chain and purchasing; the other on engineering and maintenance issues, with plenary sessions on both days. This combination facilitates the close liaison between purchasing, engineering and maintenance personnel when making outsourcing decisions within an airline company, and offers suppliers the opportunity to meet key regional airline operators who are looking for strategic industry partnerships.
This two-day event is expected to be a sounding board to help drive the industry forward, providing the latest intelligence, analysis and commentary for the Asia Pacific region in terms of growth, RFID development, supply chain management, maintenance recruitment and training, co-operative purchasing, maintenance outsourcing and managing surplus inventory.
Ambrose William, SVP Marketing at ST Aerospace in Singapore, will chair the conference. The strong line-up of speakers from around the world includes senior executives from Japan Airlines, Bangkok Airlines, Air New Zealand, the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong,OAG, BOC Aviation, Frost & Sullivan, Ameco Beijing, Air France Industries, SR Technics, Airbus and Embraer.
Maintenance, engineering and purchasing representatives from regional operators who do not offer third party maintenance services are eligible for complementary places.
