Thursday 08 July 2010

OAG and SITA Renew Partnership

(Washington, DC – July 8, 2010) OAG, the global leader in aviation intelligence, and SITA, the specialist provider of air transport communications and IT solutions, today announced their continued alliance to bring the industry the best and most advanced aviation information.

This renewed agreement elevates the two companies’ relationship from that of data provider and user, to a partnership committed to providing the aviation industry with continually new and enhanced information services. As industry leaders in each of their markets, OAG and SITA will combine their information assets to improve information services available to the aviation industry.

“With OAG, SITA will provide the more than 130 airlines using SITA’s Horizon passenger solutions with the most-up-to-date airline information. We will ensure the highest levels of data accuracy supporting improved customer service,” said Brian Cook, SITA Vice President, Passenger and Airline Solutions.

OAG and SITA have been partners since 2003. This renewed contract reinforces their partnership and brings enhanced information services to virtually every airline, airport and traveler around the world.

“The partnership of SITA and OAG is important to the advancement of passenger solutions and enhanced information services. Both companies are committed to expanding our product offerings and continuing to provide the most accurate data available to the aviation community,” said Peter von Moltke, Chief Executive Officer, UBM Aviation. “This renewed agreement demonstrates confidence between the companies and in their combined products, and promises to enhance all aviation information and its delivery.”
