Phil Callow

Phil Callow is Chief Executive Officer of UBM Aviation. He was appointed to the post in January 2012.

Phil has been a UBM leader since 2005 and joined from sister company UBM Medica, where he was CEO for their UK businesses. Prior to joining UBM, Phil held a variety of business and consumer publishing roles within EMAP and BBC Worldwide.

He’s passionate about data and digital products and brings a wealth of media experience and expertise with a track record of managing complex change, finding innovative customer-led solutions to drive business transformation. During his time at the helm of UBM Medica’s UK operations he led the digital development strategy, successfully transitioning UBM Medica from a predominantly print-led business to a digitally-dominated data, subscription and online business.

Phil is a graduate of Fitzwilliam Cambridge University where he read Land Economy. Phil is based at the UBM Aviation Head Office in Luton, UK.
